Part Time Instructors for Community Education Life Enrichment courses that focus on academics, culinary arts, fitness & wellness, performing arts, STEM science, STEM technology, STEM engineering, STEM math, and visual arts for Youth. Instructors should have experience teaching and working with children between the ages of 6‑17, and have an expert knowledge of and practical experience in the subject they are proposing to teach.
Instructors will be required to complete all forms and documentation related to the course, all documentation required by the college, and the ability to successfully complete a criminal background investigation including fingerprinting.
Pay rates for non‑credit courses in Continuing Education are commensurate with education and experience qualifications.
In addition to a fully complete application, applicants MUST submit a course(s) proposal including 1) classes to be taught 2) youth teaching experience directly related to the course(s) being proposed.
