Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Enablement Architect in the Enterprise Security Group to empower our technical pre-sales teams and accelerate revenue with Zero Trust, microsegmentation, and SASE/SSE solutions across legacy, SaaS, and cloud environments.

You will develop demos, train the sales force, and translate complex tech into business value for executives, with emphasis on AI security and cloud security concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in presales, sales engineering, solution architecture, product management, professional services, or customer success.
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust, microsegmentation and SASE/SSE architectures and cybersecurity technologies and trends.
• Experience with AI security for workloads and AI-driven interactions.
• Solid knowledge of datacenter security tech and networking concepts (TCP/IP, TLS/SSL).
• Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills to articulate product value.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous updates to the technical pre-sales community on roadmap, lifecycle, and key information.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to create and deliver sales training and technical content.
• Act as the primary technical POC for Sales Engineers on complex inquiries and RFIs/RFPs.
• Analyze feature requests, propose workarounds, and communicate field feedback to Product Management.
• Guide field teams in designing solutions for complex POCs and strategic deals.
• Develop and maintain product demos with TME and SE teams to showcase Akamai ESG portfolio.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value narratives for executives.
