Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Security Architect to own the technical aspects of integrating Akamai's Security Solutions for client projects from design through implementation, testing and sign-off.

You will analyze customer traffic, customize security solutions, and work with customers to solve complex issues while leading a team and collaborating with cross-functional groups. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in security architecture are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security architecture or related field.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP, network security products, firewalls, HTTP/HTTPS/DNS.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and accountability

Responsibilities

• Own the technical aspects of integration (configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live) of Akamai Security Solutions.
• Analyze customer traffic and systems; tailor Akamai security solutions to address security issues.
• Work with customers to identify and solve complex problems during integration and support.
• Lead and develop the team through training, coaching and mentoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to scope, timeline, and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in ongoing training to develop skills.
