Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Technical Account Manager II for our Enterprise Security group. You will lead large deployments, drive customer success, and partner with Support and Engineering to deliver secure, scalable outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years in technical customer-facing roles, experience with zero trust, EDR, microsegmentation, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP); knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in technical customer-facing roles (TAM, solutions engineer/architect).
• Experience with microsegmentation, EDR, or Zero Trust products.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of networking, security, and Linux/Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Be the focal point for technical vendor issues for the customer.
• Provide best practice design guidance to enhance outcomes and oversee scale and performance.
• Collaborate with Support and Engineering to resolve issues and drive customer satisfaction.
• Assist with deployment, configuration and customization of the platform; adapt to changes in the Customer's environment.
• Support integration between Akamai Zero Trust solutions and third-party solutions.
• Brief the customer on upcoming features and provide training with Guardicore training team.
