Job summary

Akamai's Enterprise Security Group is seeking a Senior Technical Enablement Architect to accelerate revenue by arming our technical pre-sales teams with repeatable demos and clear content.

You will partner with Product Management and Marketing to create and deliver impactful training, guide Sales Engineers on complex inquiries, and translate technical capabilities into compelling business value for executives across cloud, AI security, and Zero Trust offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in presales, sales engineering, or related roles.
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles and related architectures.
• Experience with AI security for workloads and governance.
• Strong knowledge of datacenter security and networking basics.
• Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills; able to articulate technical value.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, clear updates to the technical pre-sales community on roadmap, product lifecycle, and key technical information.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to create and deliver impactful sales training and technical content
• Act as the primary technical POC for Sales Engineers, providing expert guidance on complex customer and prospect inquiries and RFI/RFP responses.
• Analyze feature requests, propose workarounds, and communicate field feedback to Product Management.
• Guide field teams in designing solutions for complex POCs and strategic deals, ensuring product alignment.
• Developing and maintaining product demos in collaboration with TME and SE teams to showcase the Akamai ESG portfolio
• Translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value narratives for senior and executive stakeholders
