Job summary

Akamai's Enterprise Security Group is seeking a Senior Technical Enablement Architect to empower cybersecurity sales teams and accelerate revenue across Zero Trust, microsegmentation, and SASE/SSE portfolios. You will partner with Product Management to create impactful training and demos for field engineers, and you will guide complex customer engagements with expert technical insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in presales, sales engineering, solution architecture, product management, or related roles.
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust, microsegmentation, and SASE/SSE architectures.
• Experience with AI security and securing AI workloads.
• Knowledge of data center security technologies and networking (TCP/IP, TLS/SSL).
• Strong presentation and communication skills to articulate product value.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP, microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing updates to the pre-sales community on roadmap, product lifecycle, and key technical information.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to create and deliver sales training and technical content.
• Serve as the primary technical POC for Sales Engineers, guiding on complex inquiries and RFI/RFP responses.
• Analyze feature requests and communicate field feedback to Product Management.
• Guide field teams in designing solutions for complex POCs and strategic deals.
• Develop and maintain product demos with TME and SE teams to showcase the Akamai ESG portfolio.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value narratives for executives.
