Job summary

Akamai Enterprise Security Group is seeking a dynamic Technical Account Manager II to lead large deployments and drive security outcomes while building trusted relationships with enterprise customers.

You will coordinate with Support and Engineering, deliver best-practice guidance, and oversee deployment, configuration, and integration of Akamai Zero Trust solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful adoption of new features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years in technical customer-facing roles (TAM, solutions engineer/architect).
• Experience with microsegmentation platforms, EDR, or zero-trust products.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Kubernetes experience is advantageous.
• Understanding of networking, security, and OS (Linux/Windows).

Responsibilities

• Being the focal point for technical vendor related issues in front of the customer
• Providing product best practice and design guidance, to enhance technical and business outcomes, overseeing scale and performance over time.
• Working closely with Support and Engineering teams to quickly resolve any issues and drive customer satisfaction
• Assisting with deployment, configuration and customization of the platform while adapting to changes in the Customer's environment.
• Supporting integration requirements between Akamai Zero Trust solutions and other 3rd party solutions.
• Briefing the customer on upcoming features and updates, and provide training in cooperation with Guardicore training team
