Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Experienced z System ISV Infrastructure Software Engineer within Optum Technology's Z Systems Application Hosting team. You will lead installation, administration, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery for ISV software from BMC, Broadcom/CA, and SAS across large z Systems environments.

You will automate deployment using z/OSMF, participate in Sunday maintenance windows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement using

Qualifications

Extensive mainframe systems software experience in large z Systems environments.
Experience with ISV z Platform software installation, configuration, and administration.
Demonstrated 24x7 on-call rotations and incident RCAs.
Proficient with z/OSMF, SMP/E, and enterprise monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and support ISV z Platform software across SysPlex environments.
Automate installation and admin workflows using z/OSMF scripts.
Manage lifecycle of ISV products including HIPER PTFs and service packs.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure with enterprise tools.
