Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Workforce Analytics Analyst to support engineering finance dashboards and data-driven insights. The role emphasizes analytics, collaboration, and process improvement within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings a finance-focused degree and 5+ years in FP&A or related fields, with hands-on experience in Power BI, Alteryx, and data modeling. Hybrid work arrangement offered with a strong emphasis on cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Working experience in Finance functions including Program Controls, FP&A, Engineering Finance, OSC Finance, E&P or other relevant work experience.
• Working experience with financial systems such as PRISM, APEX (SAP), Business Warehouse (BW), Rplan or other financial reporting systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tool Suite with a focus on Excel
• Working experience with dashboard tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards supporting Engineering Finance operations.
• Develop accurate datasets, financial models, and analytics solutions using Alteryx.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial insights.
• Conduct root-cause analyses, assess data quality, and drive improvements to enhance data reliability and accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Engineering Finance teams to clarify requirements and align deliverables.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.
