Position Overview

This role will support key strategic operations and supply chain initiatives across RTX and play a critical role honing the precision of our global operations. The ideal candidate has a consulting mindset, thrives in a problem‑solving environment, and demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to drive meaningful impact. Candidates with experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), strategy consulting, and supply chain or manufacturing operations will excel in this role.

Responsibilities

• Apply a structured problem‑solving approach to diagnose challenges, identify opportunities and develop actionable solutions for complex business challenges.
• Synthesize large datasets and unstructured information into meaningful insights that support strategic decision‑making.
• Leverage advanced analytics tools and techniques to uncover opportunities for operational optimization and cost reduction.
• Collaborate and consult with stakeholders to shape strategic priorities and align initiatives with organizational goals.
• Contribute to the development of business cases and strategy roadmaps for high‑impact projects.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including finance, operations and supply chain, to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions using the CORE operating model to guide teams through recommendations.
• Translate complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Develop high‑quality presentations and reports that effectively communicate insights and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience (5 years with an advanced degree) working in data analysis, FP&A, strategy consulting, applied to supply chain/operations/manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.

Salary

$107,500 USD – $204,500 USD (good faith estimate; actual compensation will depend on role, experience, location and other factors).
