Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of workers' compensation claim handling experience.
• Claim Administrator certification with WA Dept. of Labor & Industry is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage workers’ compensation claims requiring timely investigations and financial accuracy.
• Provide benefit oversight, appropriate file disposition and adherence to statutory guidelines for all claims.
• Leverage a network of professional resources to facilitate claims processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining productive business relationships with customers.
• Utilize data to inform critical claim decisions and perform accurate disability benefit calculations.
• Use MS Office tools to support claim processing and reporting.
• Demonstrate professional diplomacy in all customer interactions.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Come into an office when business needs arise as per hybrid/remote schedule.
