Qualifications

• State Adjuster’s License required within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 2+ years of workers’ compensation claim handling experience.
• Claim Administrator certification with WA Department of Labor & Industry required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, HS Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage workers’ compensation claims with timely investigations and financial accuracy.
• Provide benefit oversight, appropriate file disposition and adherence to statutory guidelines.
• Leverage a network of professionals (doctors, nurses, attorneys, regulators) to support claim resolution.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain productive relationships with customers.
• Use data to inform critical claim decisions and calculations of disability benefits.
• Navigate contemporary technology to achieve accurate claim outcomes.
• Demonstrate professionalism and collaboration in interactions with customers.
