Job summary

Creative Risk Solutions is seeking a Sr. Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist, Supervisor to lead a claims team across multiple states. The role oversees complex litigated claims, mentoring staff, and ensuring adherence to CRS Best Practices for Claims Handling.

A strong background in property and casualty claim handling and supervisory experience is required. Ideal candidates will hold a state Workers’ Compensation license, a college degree, and professional designations; salary ranges from

Qualifications

High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
Active state Workers' Compensation license or ability to obtain within 3 months.
5+ years adjusting property/casualty claims, including litigated claims.

Responsibilities

Adjudicate and oversee complex claims, negotiate settlements per best practices.
Monitor files for coverage, reserves, and legal management; document findings.
Coordinate with insureds, claim staff, carriers, and clients on litigation claims.
Lead team meetings, training, performance reviews, and staff development.
Mediate between insured and insurer; analyze performance data for improvements.
Review files every 90 days and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
