Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a highly capable Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster for a temporary assignment, with an estimated end date of October 9, 2026, and a work-from-anywhere model in the United States. You will adjudicate highly complex indemnity WC claims for SC and VA with an emphasis on accurate logging of hours and timely resolution.

This temporary role offers required overtime as needed and includes a base salary structure described in the posted pay ranges.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience adjudicating workers' compensation in SC/VA.
• Bachelor’s degree required; designations or extra experience may substitute for degree.
• SC license required at start of assignment.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of how insurance works and profits.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly.
• Report trends to senior management and underwriters.
• Set claim reserves and coordinate with experts to resolve cases.
