Job summary

RSM US LLP in Des Moines, IA seeks an experienced Workday specialist to lead Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking initiatives across Talent Technology. You will lead design, configuration, testing, and deployment of enhancements in Workday, collaborating with HR and IT to maximize value and ensure system reliability.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant Experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong analytical and training skills.

Qualifications

Advanced working knowledge of Workday Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, or other HRIS platforms required.
Experience supporting Workday payroll processing, time tracking operations, absence management, accruals, and pay calculations preferred.
Ability to establish, document, and improve business processes required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into scalable system solutions required.
One-on-one and small group training skills required.

Responsibilities

Special projects researching, specifying, developing, testing, and implementing Workday enhancements for Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
Collaborate with project teams to align solutions with business requirements and maximize value.
Define requirements for system enhancements and payroll processing including pay calculations and retro.
Monitor integrations, business processes, and automations supporting Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
