Job summary

FTI Consulting in Houston, TX is seeking a Manager, Workday Reporting & Analytics to lead the design and delivery of Workday reports and analytics for HR. You will partner with HR COEs, develop complex reports, dashboards, and integration outputs, and guide data-driven decisions across the firm.

You'll manage end-to-end reporting projects, mentor junior staff, and help shape AI-enabled analytics, with opportunities to grow within a global firm. Domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HRIS, HR reporting, or HR data analytics experience, with at least 5 years hands-on Workday report development.
• Strong proficiency in Workday reporting tools: Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, Calculated Fields, and Custom Report Data Sources.
• Workday Pro certification in Reporting.
• Experience developing report-based integration outputs (e.g., RaaS) and supporting integration reporting requirements.
• Solid understanding of the Workday HCM data model, business processes, and security architecture and their impact on reporting outputs.
• Demonstrated experience managing reporting projects end-to-end.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced Workday reports across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent, and Payroll.
• Build reporting solutions that account for Workday security model impacts, ensuring appropriate data scope for each audience.
• Build and manage dashboards and discovery boards to deliver self-service analytics to HR leadership and COE partners.
• Serve as an escalation point for report defects, performance issues, and data interpretation questions, and evaluate new reporting features with biannual Workday releases.
• Own the project lifecycle for assigned reporting initiatives: intake, requirements, scoping, build, UAT, deployment, and documentation.
• Partner with HR COEs and the HR Technology team on reporting requirements for integrations built on EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, and Orchestrate.
• Mentor report writers and analysts, contribute to reporting standards, and maintain data quality governance.
