Job summary

Ancestry is seeking a Senior Specialist, People Systems to lead Workday across Core HCM and Hire-to-Retire, driving modernization and operational excellence. You will partner with HR leaders to translate system capabilities into business actions and deliver insights through analytics.

With 5+ years in HRIS/People Systems and hands-on Workday expertise, you will design configurations, build dashboards in Power BI, and guide teams through releases and large-scale transformations in a flexible

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in HRIS/People Systems focusing on Workday across Core HCM and Hire-to-Retire.
Hands-on mastery of Workday configuration, BP design, and complex security frameworks.
Data-driven storyteller with advanced Excel modeling and business intelligence tools like Power BI.

Responsibilities

Serve as Workday SME for Core HCM and Hire-to-Retire processes.
Optimize Workday configurations, business processes, integrations, and security frameworks.
Analyse workforce data with Excel modeling and BI tools to support HR decisions.
Design and deliver analytics and dashboards using Power BI.
Lead process improvements with RPA (UiPath/Alteryx) implementations.
Define, track, and deliver KPIs for Workday services.
Lead Workday projects/releases, leveraging Agile/Scrum/Waterfall.
Partner with HR leaders to translate Workday capabilities into strategies.
Present Workday insights to influence planning.
Diagnose and resolve Workday/data issues through structured analysis.
Coach junior analysts on Workday capabilities and reporting.
