Job summary

KnowBe4 is seeking a Workday Analyst (PATT) to partner with internal teams for implementing and maintaining Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking within Workday. You will optimize system configurations, security, and integrations to support business needs and reporting.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant Workday experience, strong Excel/data skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach. Remote work within the US is available, with ongoing releases and year-end support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Workday Pro Payroll/Absence Management/Time Tracking certification preferred.
• 2–3 years in implementing or supporting Workday Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking modules.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and time entry design.
• Experience with Workday implementation tools (EIB, Studio, Report Writer, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, iLoad).
• Proven track record leading and supporting successful projects.
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
• Customer service mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Growth mindset, initiative, resilience, and awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day configuration and business support for PATT modules in Workday.
• Configure pay components, deductions, tax elections, and scheduling rules.
• Maintain Workday security, org structures, and data integrity; support data entry.
• Support payroll accounting, GL posting, and financial reconciliation with Finance.
• Design and support integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio).
• Develop reports, dashboards, and worklets; manage report permissions and sharing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes across PATT modules.
• Perform unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Own Workday semi-annual releases (R1/R2) for PATT; assess impact and adoption.
• Support year-end reporting and related activities; follow SDLC and change management.
