Job summary

KnowBe4 seeks a qualified Workday specialist to manage Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking in a US remote role. You will configure pay components, security, and integrations, partnering with Finance to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of Workday experience, a related degree, and Excel proficiency; Workday Pro certifications are a plus. The role covers releases, reporting, and system improvements within a dynamic security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience implementing and supporting Workday Payroll, Absence Management, and/or Time Tracking.
• Workday Pro Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, time entry design and reporting.
• Proficiency with Workday implementation tools and Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily configuration and business support of Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules.
• Configure pay components, earnings, deductions, taxes, and schedules.
• Maintain Workday security, org structures, business processes, and notifications.
• Support payroll accounting, GL posting, and reconciliations with Finance.
• Design integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio) with external systems.
• Develop reports and dashboards; manage report permissions and sharing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and implement changes.
• Coordinate unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Own Workday releases (R1/R2) for PATT; assess impact and adoption.
• Assist with year-end reporting and related activities.
