Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Workday analyst to optimize Time Tracking and Payroll processes. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to identify needs, document processes, and improve Workday configurations for efficiency and compliance.

You will lead testing, training, and change management, coordinating with technical and business resources to deliver measurable improvements in operations and user experience within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business or systems analysis and/or technology support
• Experience supporting Workday HCM Time Tracking and Payroll including business process analysis and testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and system implementation practices
• Proven ability to analyze business processes and recommend solutions
• Experience creating and executing test plans and user acceptance testing
• Strong project management, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to analyze Time Tracking and Payroll requirements and identify problems
• Gather requirements, research options, and recommend solutions
• Create and document business requirements and user stories
• Coordinate testing efforts and develop test cases
• Develop training materials and provide system support
• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects involving HR/Payroll
• Configure and document Workday configurations and interfaces as needed
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure alignment with business needs
• Prepare process and flow diagrams and map as-is to to-be states
• Support Year End and other calendar-driven activities
