Job summary

The Bolton Group is hiring multiple Payroll Supervisors in Houston to lead a large, multi-state payroll function. The role focuses on Workday Payroll and will require mentoring a team while ensuring accurate and compliant payroll across several entities.

Hybrid schedule with on-site work in Houston, offering a base salary range and opportunities to lead process improvements in payroll operations. CPP/FPC not required but a plus for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday Payroll experience – required.
• Experience processing payroll within a large, multi-state and/or multi-entity organization.
• Previous experience supervising, mentoring, coaching, or leading payroll professionals.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, taxes, controls, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll processing across multiple states/entities.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development to payroll staff.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and controls.
• Maintain payroll data integrity within Workday Payroll and support integrations with timekeeping and benefits.
