Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance.
• 5+ years payroll experience in multi-state environment.
• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience with Workday or similar payroll/timekeeping systems.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Oversee weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls for multiple states/entities.
• Coach and develop payroll staff through training and performance management.
• Ensure payroll transactions and updates comply with policies and regulations.
• Oversee payroll tax, settlement, funding, and year-end processes.
• Maintain payroll system integrity with timekeeping and HRIS integrations.
• Review audits, reconciliations, and control processes for accuracy.
• Prepare payroll-related accruals and GL interfaces with Accounting.
• Escalate complex inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and vendors to optimize payroll.
• Develop and enforce payroll policies and internal controls.
• Monitor wage/hour law compliance and tax regulations.
• Support year-end activities including W‑2 processing and communications.
• Lead system testing, implementations, and integrations.
