Job summary

Snap Inc. is hiring a Lead, Workday Integration Engineer to join the People Team. You will own end-to-end technical delivery for Workday integrations, architect complex solutions, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to translate business needs into scalable integrations.

The role requires deep Workday API knowledge, experience with Studio, EIBs, and REST/SOAP, plus proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python. A strong customer- and data-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years of demonstrated Workday integration development experience using Workday’s integration tools (Reports-as-a-Service, Enterprise Interface Builder, Document Transformation, Connectors, Workday Studio, or similar).
• Strong experience with API design, data structures, and secure development practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Configuration, People Analytics, Engineering, IT, and other stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
• Own end-to-end delivery for integration and automation—from discovery to deployment.
• Architect and develop integrations using Workday Studio, Orchestrate, EIBs, Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Design applications and automation using Workday Extend and languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, XML, XSLT.
• Lead experts on Workday APIs, advise on capabilities, authentication, error handling, and best practices.
• Collaborate on downstream data models and transformation logic for reporting and analytics.
• Lead technical assessments to simplify architecture and improve reliability.
• Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, and alerting for maintainable solutions.
