Job summary

Accenture in Redmond seeks a Workday Functional Lead to architect HCM solutions, drive cross-functional design, and lead workshops for clients. You will guide planning, budget, and reporting while aligning with Workday and Accenture methodologies.

You’ll mentor project staff, manage resources and budgets, and serve as escalation point for critical issues, delivering value through innovative methods.

Qualifications

• Workday Partner Certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of consulting or client-side experience, most recently in a Lead or similar level role.
• Minimum of 3 years of working of HCM Functional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Workday Implementations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associate’s Degree must have equivalent minimum 6 year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams in gathering business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
• Architect Workday HCM solutions to ensure cohesive cross-functional impacts.
• Formulate planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting strategies.
• Architect statements of work and client proposals.
• Architect and manage vendor relationships.
• Lead workshops for client education.
• Manage resources and budget on client projects.
• Serve as escalation point for critical functional issue resolution.
• Provide SME to aid decision making on the functional solution.
• Lead, mentor, counsel and manage performance metrics of project staff.
• Conduct sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements.
• Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices.
• Understand and apply Workday and Accenture methodologies.
• Provide Delivery Lead with status updates on project status.
• Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure the client uses Workday best practices.
• Support innovation through development of new industry-leading methods and assets.
