Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Workday Functional Lead to join our global Workday practice. Lead the HCM workstream, architect end-to-end Workday solutions, and partner with clients to define requirements and deliverables.

You will drive design, testing, training, and go-live activities while mentoring junior staff and managing budgets. Travel may be required as projects span multiple client locations, delivering high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• Workday Partner Certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of consulting or client-side experience, most recently in a Lead or similar level role.
• Minimum of 3 years of working of HCM Functional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Workday Implementations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associate’s Degree must have equivalent minimum 6 year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify business requirements and design functional and process designs, prototyping, testing, training and support procedures.
• Architect Workday HCM so all streams are cohesive and cross-functional impacts are mitigated.
• Formulate planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting strategies.
• Architect statements of work and client proposals.
• Architect and manage vendor relationships.
• Lead workshops for client education.
• Manage resources and budget on client projects.
• Serve as escalation point for critical functional issues.
• Provide SME guidance for decision making on the functional solution.
• Lead, mentor, counsel and manage performance metrics of project staff.
• Conduct sessions with clients to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Advise on industry standards and leading practices.
• Apply Workday and Accenture methodologies.
• Provide Delivery Lead with status updates and overall project status.
• Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve objectives.
• Ensure client adopts Workday best practices.
• Support innovation with new industry-leading methods and assets.
