Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Workday Functional Lead to join a team of advisory professionals delivering cloud-based data reporting and Workday HCM solutions. You will lead design, prototyping, testing, and workshops while mentoring project staff across client engagements.

The role requires 3+ years of HCM functional experience, a Workday Partner Certification, and strong client management skills, with travel likely.

Qualifications

• Workday Partner Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of consulting or client-side experience, most recently in a Lead or similar level role
• Minimum of 3 years of working of HCM Functional experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Workday Implementations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associate’s Degree must have equivalent minimum 6 year work experience.
• Bonus points: 6 years of Workday-related implementations
• Bonus points: Demonstrate knowledge of the HR function & processes
• Bonus points: Experience in Education or Government Workday implementations

Responsibilities

• Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures
• Architect Workday the entire HCM solution to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated
• Formulate planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting strategies
• Architect statements of work and/or client proposals
• Architect and manage vendor relationships
• Lead workshops for client education
• Manage resources and budget on client projects
• Serve as the escalation point for critical functional issue resolution
• Provide subject matter expertise to aid in decision making related to the functional solution
• Lead, mentor, counsel and manage performance metrics of project staff
• Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements.
• Advise clients on industry standardsand leading practices.
• Understand and apply Workday and Accenturemethodologies.
• Provide the Delivery Lead with status updates and keep them apprised of overall project status.
• Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives
• Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices.
• Support innovation through the creation of new industry leading methods and assets
