Job summary

Capital One is seeking Workday Engineers who are passionate about building resilient HR technology platforms. You will champion automation and work across HR domains including HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll and Time Tracking to deliver scalable Workday solutions.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, HR partners and cross-functional teams to implement robust business processes, stay current with Workday updates, and document systems thoroughly to support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 6 years of Workday functional configuration experience.
• At least 4 years of experience configuring Workday business processes.
• At least 2 years of experience with calculated fields or custom reports.

Responsibilities

• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business.
• Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards.
• Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
• Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities.
• Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation.
• Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective.
• Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues.
