Job summary

Capital One is seeking Workday Engineers to help build and optimize HR technology services. You will contribute to a resilient Workday platform supporting HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits, collaborating with product owners and HR partners in an agile environment.

This role requires staying current with Workday updates, crafting clear documentation, and providing production support while delivering scalable solutions across multiple U.S. locations including San Jose, CA.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks.
• At least 4 years configuring business processes within the Workday platform.
• At least 2 years of experience with calculated fields or custom reports.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 7+ years of Workday configuration experience (Recruiting, Benefits, TM/PM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Deliver Workday solutions across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits.
• Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation.
• Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective.
• Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems and coordinating with HR partners.
