Job summary

Capital One is seeking Workday Engineers to join People Tech and drive HR technology programs with a focus on reliability, automation, and scalable platforms. You will implement Workday solutions across HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, and Payroll while collaborating with product owners and HR partners to deliver value.

In this role, you will stay current with Workday updates, document implementations, and provide production support.

Qualifications

• Six years of Workday functional configuration experience.
• Four years configuring Workday business processes.
• Two years of experience with calculated fields or custom reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners to define capabilities and testing needs.
• Translate business priorities and HR value into Workday solutions.
• Deliver Workday configurations across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits.
• Communicate effectively with team, stakeholders, and partners.
• Identify process improvements with HR to optimize business results.
• Stay updated on Workday updates, fixes, and capabilities.
• Build and maintain thorough documentation for system implementation.
• Serve as primary business/technical expert for Workday questions.
• Provide production support for Workday and partner with the business to resolve issues.
