Guidehouse Inc. in McLean, VA seeks a Workday Financials Technical Lead to own the Finance System of Record.

You will drive platform stability, execution quality, and governance across configuration, integrations, data, security, and operations. You will partner with Finance leadership, IT, Data, Security, and delivery teams to translate priorities into secure, scalable Workday solutions and oversee end-to-end delivery and release readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the senior technical owner of the Workday Financial Management platform, ensuring stability and delivery outcomes.
• Own day-to-day IT ownership for Workday Financials, including deployment readiness and operational health.
• Translate Finance and Accounting priorities into executable technical work with IT Finance, leadership and partners.
• Manage scope, architecture, risk, and delivery for Workday changes and enhancements with technical resources and partners.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, data privacy, controls, and change-management processes.
• Provide technical direction for configuration and lifecycle management across GL, AP, AR, Asset, Revenue, Banking, Procurement, Expenses, Projects, and related functions.
• Oversee Chart of Accounts, worktags, hierarchies, validation rules, and financial dimensions with data owners.
• Guide configuration of workflows, approvals, notifications, validations, and system controls for scalability and auditability.
• Own integrations, data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, error handling, and production readiness.
• Ensure data integrity, lineage, and auditability across Workday, integrations, and reporting.
• Lead data conversion planning, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and production readiness.
• Oversee reporting capabilities and coordinate with Enterprise Data and AI on standards and downstream reporting.
• Partner with data owners to maintain definitions, access, retention, and governance for financial data.
