Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Senior Systems Accountant to own and optimize the Workday Finance environment. You will serve as a hands-on expert for issue resolution, process improvements, configuration, and end-user support.

The role requires solid accounting knowledge and strong Workday technical skills with a continuous improvement mindset. Responsibilities include configuring Workday Finance, supporting GL/AP/AR/Fixed Assets, and coordinating with IT for issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Systems roles.
• Experience with Workday Finance configuration, or functional analyst capacity.
• Familiarity with ERP/financial systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite.
• CPA/CMA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and configuration of Workday Finance, including security roles and user setup.
• Act as a functional resource for GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Financial Close.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze problems and document requirements.
• Assist in developing business requirements, test scripts, and training docs.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with IT or the Accounting Systems Manager.
• Monitor interfaces, data flows, and integrations between Workday and other systems.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in Workday.
• Support upgrades, releases, and regression testing.
• Participate in UAT and ensure changes meet accounting needs.
