Job summary

Galveston County Human Resources is seeking an experienced ERP specialist to provide advanced administration, configuration, and lifecycle support for our Workday environment, covering HR, finance, procurement, payroll, and related integrations.

The role partners with county departments and IT staff to translate complex requirements into scalable ERP solutions, manage incidents and changes, and develop reports and dashboards to improve data quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/IS/HR or related field.
5+ years in ERP/HCM/financial systems.
Experience with Workday or similar ERP/HCM platform.
Experience in ERP configuration, administration, and functional support.
Knowledge of security, reporting, integrations, and lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced administration, configuration, troubleshooting for Workday and related systems.
Serve as SME for Workday functional areas (HCM, Financials, Payroll, reporting, security, integrations).
Collaborate with County departments to translate requirements into ERP solutions.
Manage incidents, service requests, and enhancements per SLA.
Develop reports, dashboards, and data validation for ERP.
Lead Workday releases, testing, and implementation activities.
