Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Workday Data Conversion Lead in the Atlanta area to drive accurate migration of HR, payroll, and financial data into Workday. You will define conversion requirements, map legacy data, and lead data loading using EIB while coordinating with business and technical teams.

The role requires Workday data loading certification or equivalent experience, strong Excel/SQL skills, and a track record of delivering data conversions on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, HR, or related field.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Financial Management, Talent, or related modules.
• Strong knowledge of data migration, conversion methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Workday EIB, Workday Studio, reporting and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze source system data and define data conversion requirements for Workday implementations.
• Extract, cleanse, transform, map, and prepare legacy data for migration into Workday.
• Develop and maintain data mapping documents, conversion rules, and load schedules.
• Execute data loads using Workday EIB and other data loading tools.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy.
• Partner with business, functional, and technical teams to resolve data issues.
• Support testing cycles, mock conversions, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
