Job summary

Groundswell is seeking a highly skilled Workday Data Conversion Lead to drive end-to-end data conversion for a complex implementation supporting an Intelligence Community customer. You will coordinate data extraction, mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and conversion into Workday, while managing cross-workstream dependencies in secure environments.

This role requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance, and a track record of leading data conversion for multiple

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required per contract requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government Top Secret security clearance with SCI favorability and Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
Candidates with active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph prioritized.
Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS or related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years in HRIS/HCM/ERP/enterprise tech with data conversion/migration/integration.
5+ years Workday implementation experience, including data conversion leadership.
Lead end-to-end data conversion for at least two large Workday implementations.
Current Workday HCM Data Loading Services Certification.
Strong understanding of Workday data conversion tools, methodologies, loading processes, lifecycle.
Experience with data profiling, mapping, harmonization, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation.
Plan and execute multiple data conversion cycles and Workday data loads through testing, deployment, go-live.
Experience converting data from multiple legacy systems and managing complex mappings.
Collaborate with business/tech data owners to define data requirements and validate converted data.
Strong ETL/data quality/reconciliation practices.
Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools.
Coordinate data conversion with configuration, integration, testing, other workstreams.
Lead teams, manage cross-workstream dependencies, risks, issues, milestones.
Customer-facing communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Lead the Data Conversion workstream for a complex Workday implementation.
Develop and manage data conversion strategy, plan, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Coordinate with data owners across client organizations to identify, extract, validate, and prepare source data.
Lead data profiling, mapping, harmonization, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
Leverage data conversion technologies to prepare legacy data for migration.
Coordinate with partners to manage platform availability and security dependencies.
Plan and support multiple Workday data loads across secure environments.
Ensure converted data aligns with configuration and integration requirements.
Coordinate validation and reconciliation with data owners and Workday teams.
Identify and manage data conversion risks and cross-workstream dependencies.
Ensure sensitive data handling per security requirements.
Maintain data conversion documentation and artifacts.
Lead Data Conversion team members and report progress.
