Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with Kainos, is seeking an Adaptive Planning Consultant to join a delivery team implementing Workday Adaptive Planning for clients across industries. You’ll lead project phases, design forecasting models, and mentor junior staff to ensure successful deployments.

You’ll collaborate with clients to map budgeting and planning processes, translate requirements into configurations, and deliver solutions on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive financial and/or management accounting experience with budgeting and reporting.
• Experience designing and building complex financial planning models with advanced Excel.
• Ability to translate a client’s business model into working planning models.
• Strong communicator with remote-working experience and credibility with senior clients.
• Broad business and technology understanding in Financials/ERP domains.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams and collaborate with customers.
• Knowledge of project methodologies and ability to manage to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementations of Workday Adaptive Planning across client projects.
• Understand current planning processes and map them into adaptive planning models.
• Recommend best-fit solutions based on client needs and timelines.
• Conduct design sessions and configuration decisions with clients.
• Develop and configure forecasting models to meet business needs.
• Plan and deliver user training; document models and reports.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and value realization.
• Support client success with clear, regular communication and issue resolution.
• Share learnings internally and assist in business-development activities.
• Coach and develop junior staff and manage performance where applicable.
