Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join its Digital Advisory Services practice. You will implement and support Workday Adaptive Planning projects, helping clients improve financial planning and forecasting across their businesses.

You will work with a team to configure Planning models, build integrations, and mentor junior consultants while traveling about 20% to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business analytics, MIS, fin-tech or information systems.
• Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from a wide variety of ERP systems into Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of corporate financial planning experience.
• A solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, with experience working in or with FP&A teams is preferred.
• Strong background in financial reporting, financial report systems, and data flows preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with data and using systems to create efficiencies and improve decision‑making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Able to articulate business value of systems enhancements or process change.
• Able to communicate technical information to a non‑technical audience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel as needed, approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Workday Adaptive Planning workstreams from discovery to deployment with quality deliverables and on-time delivery.
• Lead client sessions to map operations, set planning goals, and define key metrics for decision‑making.
• Build and maintain financial forecasting models in Workday Adaptive Planning aligned with client needs.
• Configure and optimize integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC and other ERP data sources.
• Automate workflows and reports to streamline financial processes.
• Train client teams to use the implemented tools effectively.
