Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will implement and support Workday Adaptive Planning, helping clients improve financial reporting and forecasting across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, business analytics, MIS, fintech or information systems preferred.
• Experience in EPM/FP&A/financial systems or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL and other integration platforms to incorporate ERP data.
• Minimum of 3 years corporate financial accounting experience.
• Minimum of 1 year corporate financial planning experience.
• Understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting; FP&A exposure preferred.
• Strong background in financial reporting, data flows and reporting systems preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work with data to improve decisions.
• Experience creating efficiencies through system-based processes.
• Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Travel willingness, approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment, delivering workstreams on time.
• Facilitate sessions with client teams to map operations, set planning goals and identify key metrics.
• Build, configure and maintain financial forecasting models in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Support configuration, testing, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning implementations.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs and JDBC to bring ERP data into Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Automate workflows and reports to streamline financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce time spent compiling data and improve analytics.
• Provide training to client teams to ensure effective tool use.
