Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join our Digital Advisory Services practice in the United States. You will contribute to multiple client projects, implementing and optimizing Workday Adaptive Planning to support finance teams with forecasting, planning and reporting.

You'll work with a cross-functional team, mentor junior consultants, and help clients translate business needs into technical solutions while traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related majors preferred.
• Experience in EPM, FP&A, financial systems or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL and integration platforms.
• Minimum 3 years corporate financial accounting experience.
• Minimum 1 year corporate financial planning experience.
• Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-facing ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementations from discovery through deployment by delivering assigned workstreams.
• Facilitate sessions with client teams to map operations and define planning goals and metrics.
• Build and maintain forecasting models in Workday Adaptive Planning aligned with best practices.
• Support the implementation process including configuration, testing and optimization.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations to consolidate data from ERP systems.
• Automate workflows and reports to streamline financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce data collection time and increase analysis.
• Provide training to client teams to ensure effective tool use.
