Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will implement, support, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning to improve clients' financial reporting, planning, and forecasting processes.

As part of a collaborative team, you will work on diverse projects across industries, mentor junior consultants, and help clients realize business value through robust analytics and streamlined workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, business analytics, MIS, fin-tech or information systems preferred.
• Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from a wide variety of ERP systems into Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of corporate financial planning experience required.
• Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, with experience in FP&A teams preferred.
• Strong background in financial reporting, financial report systems, and data flows preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned implementation workstreams while developing expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning configuration, integrations, reporting, and client advisory.
• Serve as a trusted project team member and mentor associate consultants.
• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment, delivering high-quality deliverables on time.
• Facilitate sessions with client teams to map operations, define planning goals, and identify key metrics.
• Build, configure, and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Support the implementation process from start to finish, including configuration, testing, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other platforms for ERP data integration.
• Help clients streamline financial processes by automating workflows and reports.
• Identify opportunities to reduce data prep time to focus on analysis and strategy.
• Provide training to client teams to ensure effective tool use.
