Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP seeks a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join our growing Digital Advisory Services practice. You will contribute to implementation, configuration, and client advisory across FP&A projects.

The role requires 3+ years in corporate finance or FP&A, strong JavaScript and SQL skills, and the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders. Travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; FP&A or finance background preferred.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar FP&A systems.
• 3+ years of corporate financial accounting experience.
• 1+ year of corporate financial planning experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment by delivering assigned workstreams, maintaining high-quality deliverables, and meeting project timelines and client expectations
• Facilitate working sessions with client teams to map out their business operations, define goals for their planning cycles, and identify key metrics that drive decision–making
• Build, configure, and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with best practices
• Support the implementation process from start to finish, including configuration, testing, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from a wide variety of ERP and source systems into Workday Adaptive Planning
• Help clients streamline their financial processes by automating workflows and reports using system capabilities
• Identify opportunities to reduce the time clients spend compiling data, allowing them to focus more on analysis and strategy
• Provide training to client teams to ensure they can effectively use the tools and systems implemented
