Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP seeks a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant for Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will implement, support, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning to enhance clients' financial reporting and forecasting capabilities.

You will join a team that collaborates across disciplines, delivering high-impact solutions and coaching client teams to adopt best practices in FP&A while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, business analytics, management information systems, fintech or information systems preferred
• Experience in EPM, FP&A, financial systems, or consulting preferred
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL, and integration platforms
• Minimum 3 years corporate financial accounting experience
• Minimum 1 year corporate financial planning experience
• Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
• Strong background in financial reporting and data flows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience creating efficiencies and improving decision-making with data systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team members
• Ability to articulate business value of systems enhancements or process change
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel approximately 20%

Responsibilities

• Deliver Workday Adaptive Planning implementation workstreams from discovery through deployment with high-quality deliverables and timelines
• Lead sessions with client teams to map operations, define planning goals, and identify key metrics
• Build, configure, and maintain financial forecasting models in Workday Adaptive Planning
• Support end-to-end implementation including configuration, testing, and optimization
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other platforms
• Help clients automate workflows and reports to streamline financial processes
• Identify opportunities to reduce data compilation time for analysis and strategy
• Provide training to client teams to ensure effective use of the tools
