Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will help implement, support, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning for clients, improving their financial reporting, planning, and forecasting processes.

The role involves delivering workstreams, configuring planning models, and mentoring associates, with travel ~20% as needed. Strong JavaScript/SQL skills and FP&A background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; majors listed include accounting, finance, business analytics, MIS, fin-tech or information systems.
• Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL, and data integrations from ERP systems.
• Minimum 3 years corporate financial accounting experience required.
• Minimum 1 year corporate financial planning experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver implementation workstreams and develop expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning configuration, integrations, and reporting.
• Mentor associate consultants and act as a trusted project team member.
• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementations from discovery through deployment.
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot integrations (JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC) with ERP and source systems.
• Train client teams to effectively use tools and systems implemented.
