Job summary

Tenna is seeking a Web Developer to own the WordPress backend and ensure the marketing site stays fast, secure, and healthy. You will manage hosting environments, plugins, security, and performance while integrating with HubSpot and the broader marketing stack.

You will collaborate with Front-End, Stakeholders, and use AI tools responsibly to accelerate debugging, testing, and documentation. This is a remote, full-time role with growth opportunities in a dynamic marketing tech team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in back-end web development with WordPress experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting a B2B SaaS marketing site preferred.
• Strong PHP, MySQL, WordPress API skills (hooks/filters, REST, WP-CLI).
• Proven deployment workflow in staging to production with version control.

Responsibilities

• Own WordPress back end: CPTs, taxonomies, custom fields, templates, plugins.
• Maintain plugin strategy, upgrades, and Elementor integration at scale.
• Manage local/staging/production environments and deployments.
• Own site reliability: uptime, caching, CDN, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure security, privacy, and accessibility compliance (GDPR, WCAG 2.2 AA).
• Lead technical SEO and site health with GA4, GTM, and HubSpot tracking.
• Build integrations between WordPress, HubSpot, and marketing systems via APIs.
• Document architecture, runbooks, and QA standards; enable regression testing.
