Job summary

Veta Virtual seeks a WordPress Support Developer to maintain and improve a portfolio of live client websites. You’ll focus on WordPress, plus other CMS platforms, ensuring speed, security, and accurate content across sites.

Responsibilities include bug fixes, updates to pages and posts, staging environments, backups, plugin and theme maintenance, and technical SEO improvements. This is a fully remote, full-time role with LATAM/Europe overlap.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years with WordPress and website maintenance.
• Experience across multiple CMS platforms (WordPress required; Duda, Squarespace, Divi a plus).
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and issue resolution skills.
• HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript understanding.
• Familiarity with technical SEO concepts (site speed, schema, indexing).
• Experience setting up staging environments and managing backups.
• Comfortable with hosting environments and server-side checks.
• Ability to manage ticket-based workflows and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve a portfolio of live client websites.
• Fix bugs, broken links, styling issues, and layout inconsistencies.
• Update pages, posts, and landing pages across sites.
• Set up and manage staging environments for testing.
• Ensure daily backups are configured and functioning.
• Update themes, plugins, and CMS components.
• Implement schema markup and technical SEO improvements.
• Troubleshoot site speed and responsiveness issues.
• Coordinate with teams and document recurring issues.
