Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead the WMS implementation for the DC team, driving end-to-end execution across a unified tech stack including WMS, LMS, and YMS.

You will own business configuration for the WMS and partner with Operations, Product, Technology, and Inventory to shape future capabilities. The role requires strong program management, stakeholder collaboration, and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• 8+ years of Program Management experience.
• 5+ years of Operations experience.
• Experience implementing and configuring a Warehouse Management System such as Manhattan Active.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, change and project management skills.
• Up to 40% travel required.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to track and maintain multiple projects and deliverables.
• Strong partnership and relationship development skills.
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of program management principles.
• Demonstrated track record of making programmatic recommendations that enable the business to achieve goals.
• Proven ability to excel and lead by example in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment.
• Strong and effective written and verbal communication across a range of audiences and stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity.
• Ability to collect data, analyze, and summarize conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Support and own a core operations process (Inbound, Outbound, Reverse, ICQA).
• Own business configurations for the Warehouse Management System for your core operations process.
• Collaborate across Operations, Product, Technology, Engineering, Inventory and more to shape future system capabilities.
• Define program vision with stakeholders, with clear goals, metrics, roles and responsibilities.
• Represent day-to-day activities to run a facility; balance tradeoffs to support the North Star.
• Advocate for end-user experience through all phases; support training, documentation and change management.
• Support business requirements and user acceptance scenarios; assess options for standardization.
• Bring open-minded perspective to process changes matching industry or network standards.
• Develop strong cross-functional relationships to ensure delivery from ideation to execution.
• Identify and escalate issues; size impact and determine next steps.
• Gather, interpret, and analyze data to inform program decisions.
• Ensure milestones are met and raise concerns if scope, timeline, or budget is affected.
