Job summary

Ranger Energy Services, LLC seeks a Wireline Engineer III to lead safe, efficient well-site operations in Colorado and mentor crew members. You will ensure compliance with regulations, calibrate downhole tools, and maintain quality through detailed data reporting.

Minimum five years’ supervision experience, a CDL with HazMat, and ATF background check are required. Strong English communication and ability to work with clients are essential for successful execution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Geoscience preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience supervising wireline well site operations.
• Must pass ATF background check.
• CDL with Hazardous Materials Endorsement required.
• Strong communication and written reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare well site operations ensuring regulatory safety compliance.
• Supervise and conduct wireline operations per client criteria and policies.
• Calibrate and prepare surface equipment and downhole tools with crew.
• Maintain current procedures to optimize efficiency.
• Communicate with client representatives during operations and data archiving.
• Prepare and submit accurate documentation for billing and data delivery.
• Ensure safe vehicle operation and DOT log accuracy.
• Support ongoing HSE and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide crew training and periodic performance reviews.
