Job summary

Ranger Energy Services is seeking a Wireline Engineer II in Hobbs, NM to ensure safety and quality on our Day Work production line. You will supervise well-site operations, calibrate tools, and maintain client relationships with detailed reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of wireline supervision experience, a CDL with HazMat endorsement, and a Engineering/Geoscience degree (preferred). Strong communication and strict adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Geoscience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience supervising wireline well site operations.
• Must pass comprehensive ATF background check.
• Valid CDL with Hazardous Materials Endorsement required.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office.
• Working knowledge of Warrior operating system.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Knowledge of wireline technologies including perforating components and data acquisition systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare well-site operations ensuring safety compliance.
• Supervise and conduct well-site operations per client criteria.
• Supervise and assist crew with calibration of surface equipment and downhole tools.
• Maintain knowledge of current standards to optimize efficiency.
• Maintain customer relationships through quality service and execution.
• Communicate with client representatives for well-site operations and reporting.
• Provide accurate documents for billing and data delivery.
• Operate company vehicles per policy and regulations.
• Coordinate logistics of equipment and ensure safe driving and DOT compliance.
• Support HSE and Quality initiatives and training of crew.
