Job summary

Ranger Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Wireline Lead Operator to safely perform wireline duties at well sites and in the shop, ensuring compliance with regulations. You will lead rigging operations, assist with tool assembly, and maintain equipment with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires CDL with hazmat, ATF background clearance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training and supervision of junior operators are involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement is required.
• ATF background check clearance is needed.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office knowledge required.
• Ability to work in a team and fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of explosives used in wireline operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for jobs by performing tool maintenance and pre/post-job checks.
• Lead rigging up and down wireline surface and downhole equipment.
• Assist in tool string make-ups and assembly of logging tools, perforating guns, and setting tools.
• Maintain and clean downhole and surface logging equipment and components.
• Receive instructions and perform well site activities and shop duties.
• Drive company vehicles safely and comply with regulations.
• Maintain well site/DOT records and communicate with team.
• Participate in continuous improvement for safe, efficient operations.
• Supervise and train other wireline operators and ensure safety.
