Job summary

Ranger Energy Services, LLC in Dickinson, ND is seeking a Wireline Lead Operator responsible for safely performing wireline duties at the well site and in the shop, ensuring compliance with regulations applicable to wireline explosives operations. You will lead rigging up/down, assist in tool string make-ups, maintain equipment, and supervise other operators while maintaining safety and customer relations.

Must have CDL with HazMat, 2+ years experience, and ATF background check; strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL with HazMat endorsement required.
• Minimum of 2 years' wireline operator experience.
• Able to pass ATF background check.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of downhole tools.
• Familiarity with explosives applications in wireline operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead rigging up and down the wireline surface and downhole equipment.
• Perform tool maintenance and pre-/post-job checkout.
• Assist in tool string make-ups and assemble downhole logging tools.
• Maintain and service logging equipment and explosives tools.
• Communicate with co-workers and supervisors on the well site.
• Promote safe and efficient operations; participate in continuous improvement.
• Supervise and train other Wireline Operators.
• Drive company vehicles safely and maintain records.
