Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Wireless Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical leadership across multiple projects in the US. The role covers design reviews, standards development, and coordination with BIM, AHJs, and carriers. Candidates should bring extensive RF design experience and a proven SME track record.

The position supports data center builds with DAS, LMR, Wi-Fi, Private LTE/5G, and related systems, with a hybrid work policy and opportunities with Fortune 50 clients.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate's degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years designing wireless telecommunications systems (LMR, DAS, Wi-Fi, Private LTE/5G).
• Experience leading technical teams and guiding clients.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve wireless designs in iBwave and EDX.
• Provide technical leadership for wireless telecom designs.
• Coordinate with BIM designers for drawing packages.
• Engage with AHJs, radio system owners, and carriers.
• Develop and maintain wireless design standards.
